The evening brings a traditional Irish dinner in one of Dublin's finest old public houses. Before leaving the capital, visit EPIC — The Irish Emigration Museum, one of Europe's most celebrated interactive museums, telling the remarkable story of the ten million people who left Ireland's shores and went on to shape the world. Then the coach heads west across the Irish midlands, the landscape gradually opening up as the Atlantic draws near, before arriving into the vibrant, colourful and endlessly welcoming city of Galway.

A morning city walk through one of Ireland's most beloved cities — the medieval Spanish Arch on the edge of the river Corrib, the lively buskers and traders of Quay Street, the ancient St. Nicholas' Church where Christopher Columbus is said to have prayed before sailing west, and the elegant Georgian sweep of Eyre Square at the heart of it all. The afternoon ventures deep into Connemara — Ireland's most dramatic and untamed landscape — concluding with a visit to the fairy-tale Kylemore Abbey, nestled on the edge of its glacial lake and surrounded by ancient woodland.

Head south along the Wild Atlantic Way to one of the most dramatic natural sights anywhere on earth — the Cliffs of Moher, 700 feet of sheer rock face rising from the churning Atlantic and stretching eight kilometres along the Clare coastline. Unforgettable in any weather. Continue to Limerick for a city walk taking in the mighty King John's Castle on the banks of the Shannon — one of Ireland's finest Norman fortresses — and the magnificent medieval St. Mary's Cathedral, before the final drive south into the Kingdom of Kerry and the charming town of Killarney.

The full Ring of Kerry — one of the world's truly great scenic drives looping the entire Iveragh Peninsula through Kenmare, the coastal road at Waterville and the breathtaking mountain pass at Moll's Gap, with the shimmering lakes of Killarney National Park spread out far below. Between March and October the route includes a visit to a working Irish sheep farm — a warm, genuine and utterly memorable window into rural Irish life. Optional: those wanting to venture further can add a stop into Cork city before returning for the evening.

Journey north and east back towards Dublin with a stop at the legendary Blarney Castle in County Cork — climb the ancient battlements, lean back over the parapet and kiss the famous Blarney Stone, said since the 15th century to bestow the gift of eloquence on all who dare. Then the final drive north to Dublin for one last evening together in Ireland's capital.
